Default Still chasing rough idle.

Well, new leads, new NGK plugs didn't fix it. Even cleaned out the throttle body as described in another thread. Really didn't make much difference, if any at all. Got quite a bit of black crap out of it though.

I haven't changed the battery yet, as suggested by someone here, but the old one seems fine now. (Was dead flat when I bought the car). I charged it over night one night and it's been fine ever since.

The old spark plugs looked like they'd been in for quite a while, but they were a nice colour and not gunked up when I pulled them out.

It shouldn't be the col packs, because when my mechanic fitted the leads for me the other day (Didn't have time myself, so just got him to do it whilst I was at work. His workshop is right across the road from work.), he said that the coil pack didn't look that old, and suggested it had already been replaced fairly recently.

It's had a new (reconditioned?) alternator in the last 18 months according to the sticker on the alternator.

What should I try next? May be run a bottle of injector cleaner through it? Or is that stuff just snake oil?

It's not a BIG problem, it's just that it's not quite exactly as it should be! You know what I mean?
