The Spring Carnival is on and I think it's about time we got off our butts and got our horses going in our cars and go for a solid drive. I picked the date because most people should have a long weekend because of the Melbourne Cup. I have thought of a few places we could go. I'm always open to suggestions.
The Great Ocean Road (Lorne): We can have lunch at the pub there and along the way stop off at the Ford Discovery Center in Geelong which is $6 admission fee for an adult. Also there is a good spot for pictures down on the foreshore. Bendigo: I have not yet looked at a map of bendigo but I'm sure there will be plenty to do. Maybe even pan for gold! But I will have a look at things to do there. We shouldn't be using more than 3/4 of a tank of fuel. Times and loctations to meet will be posted when everyone has decided on a location. So please register your interest if you want to go and add any suggestions to this thread.
