I have King Ultra lows(SSL) all round and the shocks at the front are standard. The shocks seem fine. I also got a camber kit installed as well to help with even tyre wear, maybe you should get that if you haven't already got one.

If you go SSL, the stock shocks will last less than 5000km. You need to get the shortened shocks, and if you get them when you get the springs, you only pay one lot of labour.

A camber kit is optional, but you will only know if you need one if they can't get enough adjustment from the stock factory bolts when doing a wheel alignment.

Choice of brand is up to you. At a minimum, I'd go Monroe, but Boge, Koni, Pedders, etc are all useful too.

I have stock shocks at the front and they are fine and have been for the last 30000Km that the car has been lowered.
Stock shocks at the rear won't last long, you only have to get shortened shocks for the rear.

Speaking from experience.

hey i spoke to pedders today and they say u cant get a strut/shock that will lower your AU, i want sumthing that will hold my super lows in the cup lower than the standard strut is it possible?? i dont wanna go ultralows cos it will ride like a dog i feel, coilovers are my only option apparently thats what pedders say. Im just interested in lowering the front at the moment.
