LOL maybe its the fact I dont have a letter box :P

It was meant to be delivered by courier to a local drop off point as the couriers dont like going to farms to drop off ........ Tis the way of rural communities ....

Have rung the "Case Worker" given to me about my official complaint & am waiting to hear back from her as to where exactly it was meant to be going ........

If its not here soon I know where I will be placing these telephones ......... Did someone say bend over Telstra :P

LOL Roy .....

A further update....... I have a 160k round trip to do in the morning to pick up the phones from Dubbo ..............

Apparently no one remembered to tell me that there were none of the phones in stock ...... even when I was promised they would be here today !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone say Telstra bend over ................

Did someone mention the worked at Telstra NAC? I'm a few weeks in replying to this thread but I too was a quality assurance rep in that department. Sundeep, if you worked there more than 10 months ago, I probably know you or at least seen you around. Good luck with your future team leader program, most of the time they will use you and spit you out.

As someone had mentioned earlier, problems that drag on are 95% due to system restrictions or the operators lack of knowledge. When I began over 3 years ago, they put you into training over 2 weeks and chuck you out on the phones. For the first month, its like being fed to the lions. Anyway I'm getting slightly off topic....

Glad you finally got your phones.. Even though I worked for Telstra in the past, Ive always stayed with Optus and have never experienced bad customer service with them.

Telstra rang me tonight with a bid to win back my business. I reminded them why I stopped dealing with them. I really dont like telstra and encourage others to try another provider.

They brought up a bill when connecting a new service (about 2 years ago) that was 10 years old, and we had agreed that I would pay 1/2. I did pay half, but 10 years later they would not connect the new service unless I paid the other half.

To think they would cold call without realising why I stopped using them is beyond belief.

I have converted hundreds of people away from telstra. I hope they enjoy their $49.90.
