Default Changing the cam on an AU

Can you change the cam on an AU yourself? Is it any different from the
e series? Any one know exactly how its done and if there is any special precautions needed?

yes you can. Yess its different to an Eseries cam and it wont fit. Just get a mechanic to do it 150-200 saves you headaches u dont want or need. Goodluck getting a billet cam, regrinds are everwhere personally i wouldnt run a reggrind, get billet new fits straight in no fkin about.

The trick is in releasing the cam tensioner properly and dialling the cam in. Cost me 1500 dollars a few years ago.I blew it up. This current engine had the cam installed by Joe at Crescent motorsports at Liverpool.A gentleman if I ever saw one.Dont be a tight...on this and you wont regret it.

Who does regrinds? I know wade cams do but apparently they don't do them for AU series cars
