Default BA XR electric seats into and AU XR6

Ok guys ive been in posession of a couple of BA xr seats in red and black cloth trim for around 2 years now.
I finaly got of my lazy *** and done a lot of measuring and some elbo grease and hard work to get these suckers in,
I have finished the drivers side and hooked up the electrics to it and is all finished passengers is still a work in progress. Pics below.

lookin good. how much effort that take.
id love to get some ba xr seats in my ED but way to much work for me.

reckon the back seat will just go in? if ya can get hold of one that is...or will it be easier to get yor existing back seat trimmed in ba material

Im thinking of just getting a custom seat cover made in BA material and im going to get the XR or tickford logo embroided into the door inserts with black background.

Took a fair bit of effort to get em in but all up probably around 10 hours spent on getting it in.

PM tikfd6, he's just trimmed his ED Ghia interior center sections with the red ba xr cloth, he might have enough spare to sell ya, or know of where to get more

Very nice bomber. Were they just a bolt in job or did you need to make some modifications?

Needs a fair bit of modification its running the standard BA rails hence electrics and the AU mount pionts are welded to the bottom of the BA rails.

Yeah, that does sound like a fair bit of work. When you're done, you should write a tech document on it. I'm sure there are many who wouldn't mind putting BA seats in their AU.
