I have borrowed a GPS from my brother and it has a nice tool on it which shows you speed - what it is/average speed/total distace, Time - taken/total driven. I was wondering if Ford have one that I could fit from the factory and what calculations it would show.
Also can this be fitted by myself or would it be best for a qualified person to do this. Please note I am in WA so anybody that I could see here in Perth would be great.

The AU Dash Diagnostic kinda shows it to you in code.
There's a good link of Fordmods about it ... other than that ... you could replace your entire dash with a Fairmont one ... and use that Trip Computer ... but it 's a fiddly job ... and will take a while as well ... and a lot of work involved. It can be done ... but it's a huge job.

Thanks for that.
I thought this might be the case. I think it may be best to look at something after market that could be installed and the display mounted somewhere. Anyone for suggestions on a product that I could look at?
