They will usually let you go with one run into the 10's. But do a second one and you are out. Until you comply with the regulations.

Don't give me any ideas mate although I was thinking trying to get 14.4 last night after seeing how close that was to it. But I had to leave room for improvement haha.
Anyway, I told the Minister of Finance and Defence that I won't run for a while after coming home last night.

Scott, I'd be very interested in what your car could do... Like bigAl said, I think the BF's have a distinct advantage over BA's.

By the way guys, there was one change I made since last weeks runs... I had a K&N filter installed. As soon as I put it in I noticed a difference. A very noticeable difference I might add. I think that helped alot.

Haha, I like to tell her the truth.
IE, when I first went to spectate I told her I was going to the drags... just to watch.
But when I wanted to compete I told her I was going to the drags...

I rekon we can get a 14.4 out of it, might as well go for a 12 while we're at it. You know you want to!

A smile yes.. a big grin.. no.. but i finally cracked a 14.... hahaha

Only got 2 runs as we got held up on pennant hills road (fatal accident) so had to rush to scrutineering and do my first run on 20's..

Was a write off from the start.. so big bling burnout was about the highlight.. hahah 15.6.. had the 98 generic tune in again to give it one last chance to help me.. it didnt

2nd and final run.. had 18's on the rear.. put the 95 tune in to see if it made a difference and booya..

14.95 at 93.4mph..

so i cracked a 14, not by much but hey.. got to retire the car for the moment.. (until custom tune, gearbox fixed, trans cooler, maybe stiffer rear suspension for racing)

Ive enjoyed it, but its clear that my car either REALLY BADLY needs a custom tune.. or was just not meant to go fast..

Massive congrats to Falc'man for the 14.5.. AMAZING STUFF
and Master G.. SENBLOODYSATIONAL

Cheers,
Troy

Yeah, your car Troy certainly needs a custom tune before anything else. I'm sure its got a mid to low 14 in it.

Hey Airmon, mate I got that time without even resorting to folding the mirrors back haha.
You reckon 14.4 but Stav says 14.3. We'll never find out what it will be since I won't run till I've got the full exhaust system and custom tune... and at the moment, the brakes have a higher priority so its going to be a while before the freak revisits the strip.

Why stiffer suspension for racing? The softer (to a degree) the better it is for take off with IRS. Unless you're talking about circuit racing.
