Thumbs up Changed my windscreen today

Hey guys,

Changed my passenger windscreen today, just wondering if there's a howto on here somewhere? I'd be happy to write one, where do i post it?

As a complete novice, i was suprised i could actualy do the job myself. After being quoted $220 for a new fitted window, i decided to get my own, and give it a shot.

After the cost of the glass ($75) and the cost of the vaccuming ($8) i'm glad i did the job myself. I feel like i've acomplished something today, and thats taken something away from the negative of having the car broken into.

Thanks everyone for the confidence you all gave me to give this a go!

Dan

Speaking of windscreens, anyone else find there AU (2) windscreens are warped or curved in a weird way? I know for a fact it trips _everyone_ out who jumps into my car. In a "im wearing grandma's reading glasses" kinda way ... so not good.

the 1/4 glass is the smaller fixed section behind the door... The difference in price doesn't suprise me as the 1/4 glass is a ute only item, not like a standard window glass.
