Ok guys an gals need some help ??? My V8 AU has a tic tic noise at idle constantly like having a stone stuck in your tire . Any ideas on what it is its not the lifters as i know what they sound like an if any 1 knows how to rectify the situation????????????????????

I'm fairly sure this won't be the case, but just to rule it out... It's not just the injectors ticking away doing what they do?

Carbon canister in the left hand guard. All V8's do it.

The Canister area sounds about right had a listen tonight an is around that area .. How do i stop it ?

You can't. You need to stuff something around it to muffle the noise.

just disconnect the solenoid on the carbon condenser. Mine has been disconnected for 25,000 kms and i have had no issues
