What year model is it and tell me what is on the (complience / date of manufacture plate) just as a note it should have 78 in the serial prefix code either CK78 or CG78.

Thats a GT, September 69 from those numbers however the 12538 should be 12938. Being a 69 it has a date of manufacture plate on it not a comp plate it should be pop rivited to the inner guard the CK78JC number should be also stamped on the rad support panel (sometimes covered by the grill righthand side as your looking at it) the CN number is stamped around the strut tower and should be the same as the engine number. Give me the number and the letter at the end and I'll confirm it's a GT block. The 69's are crossover car they have the bits from the 67/68 and bits from the 70/71 a hassel to restore to original if you don't know what should be on or not. Where abouts are you from?

With that CN number it confirms it was built at Homebush, I think he's looking at the wrong engine number. Give me a call on 0419 609 454 And I can tell you a bit more about the car and maybe you will be interested in joining our club. (if you can't get me on the phone just leave a message)
Roy Rogers its just something
