Hi All,
Lame thread I know, but help me decide! (Ignore the fact that I'm missing a centre cap on the BA XR's, I'm picking that up tomorrow) I've had these for the last few months: Threw these on today to see how they look: |

Both look very good Justin. the Ghia rims look classy and the XR rims look tougher.
What look are you after? GK

Personally I like the XR mags, and no bias in my decision

Thanks guys, I liked the Ghia's too, but the Mrs definitely prefers the XR's.
Lowering plans? Definitely. I'll probably do it the semi-dodgy way with blocks though, I'm pretty sure I've got front springs somewhere for it! |

XR's for mine, especially if you're going to lower it. The Ghia's look a little 'busy', if that makes sense.

XRs by a nose for me.
If you use lowering block, just remember that you can't use anything bigger than 38mm (1.5") otherwise the lower shock mount WILL hit the inside of the rim - oh, and you need 17 x 8s at a minimum too - 16s (, oh, and any rim wider than 8") and lowering blocks on an AU don't mix.

Ok ok, go with me here. Saw it once on a track-specific BMW. And it didn't look too bad.
The XR set on the L side and the Ghia set on the R side. Two different looks on the same car. Not everyones cup of tea, but another idea none-the-less.

^^^^^Agreed - the BF XR's are definitely the pick, but I only grabbed these as they were dirt cheap, a set of 5 all in good nick, and with 6 new tyres! Couldn't really say no!
