Default independent rear suspension

I went to a Trans and Diff place here in dubbo and asked for a quote on getting the ratio changed, he said about 5 or 6 hundred, then he asked if it was IRS i told him yeah, but now he has changed his mind, he wont do it, didnt even give me a new price to take it out, he told me if i get it pulled out i can bring the diff and gears to him and he'll change them.

Theres one other trans shop in dubbo but i dont know if they deal with diffs so i might check if they can do anything.

Otherwise what would anyone here recommend, how hard is it to pull the diff out of my VCT? what choice do i have?
