if you get a registration number, VIN/Chassis number and engine number, and the current owners full name. you should be able to take that information to VicRoads or the RTA or you local registraion place (depending on the state).
They should be able to give you all the previous owners, where it is a repairable write off, or if it has been under finance and still had money oweing. Cheerz, |

thats interesting because I always wanted to follow up on a car I traded in years ago (which I wish I hadnt have done)...
So i wanted to find where it had gone too... but had road-block after road-block telling me I couldn't find out cos of privacy.... which is pretty stupid seeing you could just follow (read:stalk) someone till they got out of a car and ask them about a car.... but if there is a way, i'd certainly like to hear...

You'll never (legally) obtain information about any previous owner of your vehicle...

yes it is the green XF, talked him down lower than previous asking price, unsure if it is a good price, for an original car.
phoned ford gave them paint code no luck never heard of colour. tried VG auto paint, very helpful. Im no dealer so I dont have access to info. Thanks to you all for the quick replies to my thread, I may just bite the bullet. unless anyone out there selling a XD to XF for up to $10,000? |

Seriously though buy the car for what it is, not what someone tells you it is..... IMO it means squat to its value who owned it.
