Default Au "Economy" mode

Does the Economy mode work when running on LPG? I don't seem to notice any difference in performance or economy.
How does the Economy mode work anyway?
Any posts would help thanks.

Switching between economy and power mode only changes the shift points for the auto. Power will hold the gears a little longer than economy.

Yep, Dan said it in one. It will work regardless of what fuel you use

Yeah doesnt matter what fuel you use. It doesnt do anything to the engine. As Peuty said, it just changes the characteristics of the transmission. It will hold gears longer, and kicks down a gear quicker when you put your foot down. Far more suited to spirited driving. Where as with econ, as the name suggests, its more for economical day to day driving, as the shift points are lower in the rev range, and it wont kick down as quick, or in some cases at all, when you put your foot down.

Turn Economy off and your car soon learns your "bad" habits... likve putting it in Drive, slap your foot down, down shift to 1st automatically and changes to 2nd at 5,000rpm... lol!
