Default Ford still testing Fiesta in S.A.?

Was on my way to work today and had 9 new Ford Fiesta's drive past in the opposite direction through the Adelaide Hills (chain of ponds).

They ranged in colour and some were 2 door, some 4 door. All had Victorian plates.

Anyone know why they'd be driving them around the hills? Perhaps a magazine review? But then why 9 of them :S

One of two things. Either Press Launch (I think it is) or Salesperson training drive days.

From memory press launch is this week, think that's our answer.

maybe theyre driving to a shopping centre while being chased by baddies... or on their way to a beach assault

watch Topgear Season 12 ep 06 and youll see that ford should use that as an ad

I'm not really a small car fan but I had a ride in one of the new Fiesta's (Zetec, manual) last week and was very impressed with it. Finish, features and quality was outstanding for the money and I quite liked the styling for what it is. Unlike the previous model there is no tinny feel to the car. The car felt very solid much like the Focus. I think this car will do very well for them.
