was the AUII ute released at the same time as the sedans? ie Apr 2000...
did it get the same brake upgrade as the sedans? did it get 16" rims also like the sedans or did it keep 15"s what is the size/load rating of AUII 1 tonne rims/tyres? is it possible to fit 15" steel rims onto the AUII brakes? thats all the questions for now |

AU2 ute got the same brakes as the sedans. My AU2 ute came out with 15" rims. Yes you can fit 15" steel rims onto AU2 brakes.

Do you have an AU2 ute? If so, if the brakes are huge, then the answer to your first and second question is yes.
The utes scored 16s with the larger brakes (15's won't fit). One tonner tyres are load rated at 105, IIRC.

AU2 Ute Specs:

rag top u do seem to be right....I looked at that scan for ages and couldnt find the tyre info...but there it was, i just didnt scroll across...
im having brake issues at the moment and would like to not waste money on the brakes as i plan to fit the AU2 brakes to my AU1 ute....problem for me is its got brand new 102 load rated tyres on 15's.... guess it aint a prob as hopefully they will fit |
