my au has developed a misfire ,i have changed spark plugs no difference .It seems to happen under load ,it idles like normal it misfires as soon as throttle is opened . im trying to figure out wheter its an eletrical or fuel problem are there any fuel filters in the fuel line ?

try leads and coils first. there is a fuel filter. it's in the line just in front of the petrol tank, almost in line with the left rear wheel

As said leads,might be a dirty MAF wire are you running a standard intake.
Fuel filter if you have done alot of K's. At night or a dark carport have the bonnet up run and rev the car see if you can see spark jumping to the heads.

it was the heat shield on the lead sparking onto the head .
