If it is a genuine sale, 85k is pretty cheap for the RS200; have heard of them pulling over a mil;

Within the latest edition of Unique cars (300th edition) they have a little blurb about how these cars have a potential sub 2.0 sec 0-100 time!!
The later evolutions of these cars produced over 650HP. These are crazy and I would seriously love one but it will only happen if I win Oz Lotto tomorrow night. Cheers Jamie |

Tragic RS200 Group B Rally crash on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xokJEbfsDe0 This is one of those horror stacks that is blamed for the closing down of the Group B rallies. A real shame, the RS200 looks like one of the meanest weapons ever produced. |

Anyway, to each thier own my fellow Ford fancier, I'm just biased towards anything with the blue oval that is lightyears ahead of its time and competitors, like the Edsel, the RS200 and the AU Falcon....... Cheers James |

Beauty is skin deep....sometime best viewed with eyes shut.
It was not trying to be pretty, just effective (translate as win races) |

The rs200 was designed and built with one purpose in mind, Its just fortunate that you could buy and drive one of these on the road. Imagine how it would go up against the present day rally cars?.

I have an article in a old Mustang Monthly magazine where a Shelby GT350R owner took his RS200 to a Shelby meet in the USA & blew every thing off the track, & not just around the bends, the yanks could not beleive the awsome acceleration of the strange looking little English 4 pot.
The car is a pure legend that was killed off before its time. _2: |
