Default What happens if???

Just wondering in breif - ish detail what happens if a timing chain snaps on an I6, well any engine really??

the cam stops turning, the dizzy stops, the pistons continue to go up and down, normally it munches valves (bends them to buggery) and its time to replace the head, and goes knows what shafts may get sheared in 2 at the front of the motor.

Generally results in bent valves due to the pistons mashing them. Worst case scenario holes in pistons etc etc.

EFFalcon would be the person to talk to about this one! :P
