G'day all,

just wondering if anyone has had experience with removing replacing the headlining of a 4 door MK2 escort, and where possibably to get a new one?

Cheers Daniel.

I have helped replace my old capri one with my mate who is a motor trimmer
obviously your windows are out
you will need a spray glue, and plenty of clamps
I have stolen a couple of picks from Marty's ute rebuild showing the trimmer putting the headlining in

start at one end pulling it firm, then the other, then the sides....
not a very hard operation, but, not one to be rushed

yeah everything is out, getting ready for a bare metal re-spray. feral, how much did it cost for the motor trimmer to do it for you?

It cost low $300's installed and that was many years back. I didn't realise it at the time, but the trimmer i used is very expensive for his work. Some of the cost surrounded having someone come in to remove and replace, the front, rear + the rear side windows (2 door). Looked fantastic.
