Has the state Liberal party ACTUALLY proclaimed that they will do this or is this just a hope and a prayer.

If this thread is just a thinly disquised random vote grab then I suspect it will be gone soon.

If it is not then this is good information.

while i do agree with the need for a motorplex, basing ones vote on that issue alone is not very sensible at all IMO. Im no fan of Labor in general but Rann has done some good, though I probably still wont vote for him...think about all of the other pressing issuesfor our state before you cast your vote.

Dont just base your vote on this, also consider South Australia's higher rego costs, lower speed limits, more speed cameras, higher road toll.....

Also, don't forget that the motorplex would provide a suitable training area to help educate Adelaide drivers (skidpan, etc), which one would hope, help reduce our shocking road toll.

Adelaide needs a motorsport complex and I would love to see you guys get it - I am in Victoria so as far as I can see there is nothing I can do about your plight other than feel sorry for you SA people. Good luck

The Labour Party in Canberra promised us a dragway if they were voted in. They've been in power for years and guess what, no dragway, it's too hard (surprise surprise!). Here's hoping your Liberals in SA haved a go at keeping their word, if they get in.

The thing is with the Motorplex in Adelaide is all the government need to do is either sell or lease the land to the consortium who will build it. That's it! The government will make money from this deal, not cost us tax payers anything.

I'm sorry, but I would never do the second part of what that sign is suggesting.

Vote Family First? The same party that make it compulsory for any <R> rated movie to be placed into its own little section at retailers and who love all forms of censorship? No thanks.

Has someone already registered a protest vote this morning? (Hint for those outside SA: The politician in the story used to be in charge of road safety and was a massive part of the reason we don't have a motorplex)

I've done my bit already. Here's hoping the Libs can scrape in... or anyone other than Rann

Well, labour is still in and it looks like the complex fight is going to be almost impossible to win. Still.......never ever give up is my motto.

I used to live in the flats right next door to that office (to the right of the pic). Serves you right for not helping Adelaide become a safer driving community. Good no one was hurt tho......that coulda been nasty :

If in the event that it was some sort of ridiculous protest.........WAAYYYY wrong way to go chick :

Bloody politicians - I wouldn't trust any of them as far as I could throw them!!!
Even if they had made it, I'm sure they'd go back on their promise anyway...
It's all just a way to get the votes.
