Capri GT badges are *not* the same as Falcon. Yes pins are in wring place, and Capri one lacks the extra length black backing plate under the 'T' that you find on the Falcon version..
I bought my repro items from American Auto Parts some years back. Happy with quality.
https://www.americanautos.com.au/secure.html 'tho a quick check of their site has failed to find them listed.
I wonder if 'JR' in Melb is a member of the forum......usually finds these odd things (somehow!!)

Found them under XA,XB,XC Falcon -> Badges and Emblems. They are listed as XA GT Boot / Capri Side, but obviously aren't reproductions of the original Capri GT badge.

Cosworthfreak.....referenced badges are close, but not 'correct'. They have the extra black backing plate under the RHS of 'T' that the Capri-specific ones do not.
Checked the Rare Spares site - only that Falcon badge referenced above.

I simply used the bench grinder to remove the excess metal under the "T". This also removes 1 pin but as said, the pins are not quite the right distance apart anyway. I then repainted the edges black and using the remaining pin to locate the badge in the right place, I used sikaflex to stick it in place holding it there with a length of masking tape until the sika dried.

Caprispecial I think I will be doing the same thing as you as i was in the shed last night & measured the badge up for location on the car & it will work fine if the T pin is removed & some double sided tape cut to size will do it.
