Just Like To Know Were Can I Get A New Vaccum Advance For My Dizzy .. I Have A 1972 Gt Capri V6 Manual ..and Iam Looking Every Were And Cant Find Notthing .. Need Help Cheers |

what about trying scorcher or a replacemnet dizzy
unless you would like to stay original it may end up easier to replace the whole dizzy with a newer item or try fleebay UK, dollar is pretty good still at the moment |

What's actually up with the old vac? is the diaphrarm split?
have you tested it? put a small piece of pipe on it and...suck - if the 'arm' that goes into the distributor moves then it's fine. If you don't have one, then you could probably use one from a Pinto motor (pretty sure the spring rate/vacuum are very similar), but it's been a while since I worked on these) Cheers Engine Guy |

thanks engine guy .but i have sucked and yerrr the diafreme is shoot it does not work at all ...

Try Recarb at Kawana, Sunny Coast. They recondition vacuum advances.
