Put a BMC air filter in today, as I don't recon the standard one lets much air in. I am leaving the air box standard as the amount of crap that gets in means there must be plenty of air.
The car definately pulles a bit better and the economy went from 6.5 to 6.4 within 10 kms, and that was through traffic. Got it for $139 from Bendigo Tyre centre, he says he will post them out ph (03) 54441545. It fits sraight in and took 5 minutes,  . No it will not cause this and some may not notice anything but I am happy, and never have to by anouther air cleaner.

I did the same last week, except used a K&N filter. Not much difference with the filter. Yesterday put in Platinum plugs and noticed a real improvement in acceleration and smoothness.

What type and how much??, will do plugs at 15,000 kms. Just changed my oil and filter at 5000 kms, there was bebris in the oil, not a good idea to wait till 15000 for oil. Used penrite 5-40 semi synth $47 from repco
