Default AU seat belts.

I'm in the process of doing an interior color change and was wondering if au 2 sr seat belts will fit into an au1 forte?

thanks.

I think the anchor points under the back seats are different from S1 - S2/3, but I'm not sure about that.

Someone else will be able to confirm for sure though.

All the best with it.

Perhaps it's something to do with the length of the beltclips then?

In my wagon, the beltclips come a fair way up above the gap in the seats, but in the sedan, they are almost buried and buckling up the kiddies is much more difficult.

Perhaps the anchor points are different then, sedan to wagon.

Having said that, I'd be keen to hear from JC on this one, as he noticed a difference between his S2 XR8 and the S1 Fairmont.

Cheers,

GK

Don't forget that AU II and III have different Seat Belt buckles due to the charge unit attached to them and I think from memory the shape of the buckle that clips in is different?

Is the charge unit attached to the rear items also, or just the front?

I put S2 Fairlane seats into my S1..
The latch or buckle or whatever its called, haha, on the front seats sits alot lower, but, the S1 seat belts still clip into them..
So i'd say they are interchangeable...

Hope that helps...

Now I haven't had much sleep last night and my alzheimer's is kicking in but I thought all seat belts were Black. How will changing seat belts effect your colour change?
