Why does the Falcon struggle to sell?

We will leave to what Prydey has said which sums up the discussion but the topic which we know will not have a definitive answer. Why someone bought something over something else is not a reason as there is always someone else buying the opposite. It has been stated that the seats in an XR6 was not good (won a design award but) for someone that might be a reason to choose another product but I would choose something that suits me.

It's a case of each to their own. I something doesn't suit, move on but don't say that a price or product is being "Forced upon you"

If ford don't offer an XR8? Stiff! Move on and buy another product. I am sure the numbers have been done and the development costs have shown it just ain't worth it. It isn't just about quality as Ford have the same problems as Toyota, GMH and believe it or not BMW and Mercedes.

Things have changed yes ..... Heaps of options out there, more so than ever. Things are tight anyway and no major auto maker would be happy with the current state of sales

Sick of the "Bag Ford at any cost" mentality at the moment from in here and in the media for what is basically a damn good package at a good price and if this doesn't suit .........please just move and stop the bagging. This is a Ford Forum for Ford enthusiast type people after all and of course many can be offended by the continual crap put on them for buying something they want and are ultimately very happy with
