For some reason the good old au Fairmont gives me the check oil light every so often and after a few seconds or a restart it returns to normal why would this be happing????

andrew, get your oil pressure checked using a gauge screwed into the block, never be too careful..

yeah ok will do anyone got one??? the Oil Pressure Gauge drops to nothing then bounces back up to normal as the light comes on... could it just be a crook sensor?
