Any ideas guys
One of my coil packs spark is only coming out of 3/4 of outputs Is this unusual? Are the Super Cheap generic brand coil packs any good? If not what is the best brand to buy. Should I replace both? Cheers |

How did you determine only 3 out of 4 were sparking ? If they are the originals it would be time to replace MSD or VDO are pretty good options check E bay they list a few at reasonable prices and yes Both would be a good idea

Replace with MSD is the usual option, part# MSD8241.

I'd first try swapping out that lead as it sounds like you were still trying to use the same lead to see the spark between the coil and the lead. If the lead is shot the coil isn't going to be able to push a spark through air to a lead that is too shagged to help it get that spark to earth...
Yell out if you need help, I'm in Melbourne's south-east and have 2 spare leads (the long ones!) and coils. |
