I need to know how tight the caliper bolts are that bolt the whole caliper assembly in one piece with brake pads and all to the bracket at the back and front??
Um in the ford au workshop manual it say caliper retaining bolts 30nm then later on its saying 68 to 92 nm?? WTF check here in the parts data sections its like 115nm which one is it?? please help its getting dark haha |

As a general rule the thicker the diameter, the higher the torque. I normally go about 30nm for the guide pins and up to 90nm for the anchor plate bolts.
Never had a problem. |

The 13mm ones? has the slide pins in them with rubber boot?
Not overly tight, never really torque them, just by feel. Probably somewhere around the 30-40nm i guess.

Yes, they are the ones. From the specs it looks like 115nm for the fronts and 92nm max for the rears.
