Default Stage 3 Crow Cam

i may be able to get my hands on one

what sort of mods would i need to utilise its potential

im thinkin stiffer valve springs definatley and a chip
what else would be needed?

i know about the uni chip and im not sure if i wanna fork out the cost
i may try and search a second hand chip torque chip

also has any one had any experience with this type of cam?
im guessing a stage 3 will be larger than the 1636 wade
and how much for ehaust porting?

gozza, the stage 3 is advertised as being good for around 120-130 kW at the wheels. I managed 128 when I used it, but found that idle quality was not great.

My advice is to get your hands on a good set of extractors as well as a decent cat back exhaust system and a Unichip. Make sure also that you get it dyno tuned properly before racking up any miles in it. I don't think there is a need for exhaust porting unless you want to port match your headers - the standard ports are already good as they are.

You might be worried about the expense, BUT if there is an issue with money I wouldn't recommend even bothering because unless you do it right the first time you are wasting your time and will be living up to the Fix Or Repair Daily motto.

he reccomended a HP4 chip for the mods i have an plan to do
im guessing this is the one im looking at on ebay
