Hey everyone,
Just wondering is anyone has had experience with these jiggers before? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALC...QAAOSwezVWw8-l The listing mentions that they will suit both AU1 and AU2/3, but I thought 1-2 had a different swaybar set up. I suppose being adjustable, it would be a matter of turning one of the mounts around 90 degrees to suit the AU2 set up. Thoughts?

They won't fit AU1, entirely different setup.
As for the benefit of them, perhaps very slight tuning ability for track use, but I can't see any advantage for road use except emptying your wallet a little more.

Interesting.
After having rebuilt the front suspension recently, I opted for the cheaper swaybar links, which I find keep coming loose and making the swaybar clunk around. I was thinking that the cheap links may have been of inferior quality. Thanks for the reply mate.

I own 5 AU's, and have had 1 come loose and 1 break.
That's over an 8 year period, probably covering 200,000km with all of them combined.

Control arm end. And they are aftermarket, hence my comment before regarding inferior quality...
Might pay to find some genuine links then.

I've got the whiteline equivalent on the front and they come with nylocks.
Went them to be able to dial out preload on the bar (basic dynamics setup) That said, I've got a knock in the front end too which I haven't been bothered to trace. Think it's ball joints but your endeavour's got me wondering...

I've just recently replaced the factory Links in my AU11 XR6. The Sway Bar started to rattle so bad it sounded like the front end was going to fall out. Replaced them with these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nolathane...UAAOSwJb9Wp9KX. I was going to buy some cheap ones of eBay for around $40, but being a 30mm Sway Bar I thought it best not to skimp on quality.

So I ended up ordering a set of whiteline links. They come with nylock nuts as well. Will fit them up this weekend.

So the new Whitleine links were installed toady and it's fair to say they were a good upgrade.
The old links were absolutely rooted, which is disappointing, because they have only been in the car for probably a maximum of 1000 kays since the front end was rebuilt. Here's some pics, but you can see that - a) The new links are a bit beefier than the old one b) the old links are made from cheese (look at the threads for one) c) the rubber has already perished on the old links. d) Nyloc nuts are a must, check out how flogged the flange on the old nuts are So, if you have a big swaybar in the front of your Falcon, spend the money on decent links,      So yeah.
