Having put the motor in I hooked the fuel lines up the way they were prior to removal of engine
There are 3 fuel lines on the lhs of engine bay 1 goes to purge on carbon canister , 1 goes to fuel supply carby and 1 goes to tank on the carbon canister My question is the fuel return from carby was attached to the hose from the bottom of carbon canister now after running the top of the canister is wet with fuel Does anyone know if this is correct |

The carburetor return goes straight back to the tank.

Thanks so do you suggest I reroute the canister hose marked tank to the return line from carby ?
Otherwise there are no other lines running back to the tank |

From memory
your right three lines run down the LHS One from the fuel sender unit goes to the petrol pump. One from the carby return to fuel tank One from the canister back to the fuel tank. This one I think goes onto the fuel lines inside the boot at the filler cap behind the plastic cover. The lines on the canister are from the emission hoses |

Thanks I've had a better look there are 2 from the sender 1 goes to fuel pump and now I've hooked the 2 up for fuel return to sender from the carby these 2 are the same size the 3 slightly smaller runs from the purge side of canister and runs the length of the chassis and vents behind the rear bumper all 3 are secured with factory clamps.
The tank outlet on the canister now goes nowhere there isn't another return to the rear to hook it up |
