The Falcon (and Commodore) are going extinct but their motorsport heritage will live on. Link some of your favourite Bathurst clips. I'll get it started with a few classics... please excuse the blatant Holden fanboyism.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMJsGG0QOIU ... it was pretty good until it wasn't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWOq94g2HB0 not necessarily "great racing" but thrilling to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRHAISpRoFg One of my favourite clips ever - Brocky in the wet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtcjlF4aFo4 who could possibly forget the rock? Hopefully some of the old-timers around here can link some classic clips that changed their lives forever too! |

Can you imagine the stewards these days reacting to hanging the tail out leaving the pit bay? They'd rip him a new one! |

You think Brock in the wet was good, have a look at Seton in the wet in 87 in the PJ Skyline. That was insane!!!

Although not a Supercar, the F1 car was pretty impressive:

I have this race on VHS somewhere,........magical driving from Seton. In regards to the footage of Brock, I saw an interview with John Bowe saying that everyone was focused on Brock but he (Bowe) was catching him fast but ran out of laps.

Brock was on slicks at the time and way to early in very wet conditions! Iirc Bowe in the Nissan was some 5 seconds a lap quicker at the time but that was not enough with Brock claiming number 9 after the Texaco Fords were disqualified, and the last win for a carb fed V8 at the Bathurst 1000.

BUUUUUURN IT
Such a good clip, brings back memories of the stories dad used to tell me about the bullring in the 80's. Best one being a guy in his mums volvo started doing donuts and dad said it went for about 5 minutes. He pushed it too much and the car gave up so it got rolled over and lit up. He was screaming for someone to help as it was his mums car. He was trying to get all the camping gear out the boot while it was on fire as well |

1999 Top 10. Watch the AUXR8 set the quickest time, listen to Dick fire up the AU after he is finished with Barry Sheene. Great sounding and best looking touring car ever imo.

This is pretty good. Sometimes pays to read the comments, especially from a keen eye.
