Default Change 351 Clevo from a AU XR6

I need to go overseas, but to do that i have to sell my baby, my XR6 Ute.

I'm considering the move to a 351 Clevo, there's one i've seen that's a 351 stroker ($5k).

My question is is it a worthwhile change over for the mass of power and the extra sound. i need the money so the cost is important too.

Thanks guys - btw, i think the car im loooking at is a XC.

If money is a factor i would say no, Clevo's drink a lot, plus for 5k it would probly need some work.

good point, i'd only want to drive the thing every now and then. so, as long as it was running well i'd be happy.

Could get something like this...

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsa...cylinder_num=8

Or maybe this for something a little later model, and a bit of luxury etc..

Or you could get an older S-XR6...

Buy something small and reliable like an older Corolla. Going to another Falcon like an EB you'll go through plenty of fuel. If you can find one on LPG for a good price, chances are you'll be replacing parts anyway.

If it's only a short time then you may as well make a decent sacrifice.
