Hello,
Just hoping someone can assist with this. If I was to put 6 months rego on my car, then park it in the garage wothout rego for the other six months (winter) would I need a roadworthy certificate to re register the car again?

In Victoria, yes. If you let a registration lapse 3 months past its registration expire you require a roadworthy to get it registered again.

And you cant have a "gap" in registration either if you let it sit ~3 months and pay for future 3 months, still gotta pay the previous time too.
