i have 2ltr pinto with 32/36dgav carby.
I put a carby kit through it yesterday, first thing is the needle and seat that was already in there was bigger than the one in the kit. Woould it have been put there for performance? And also, on the manifold the bore on the right (looking from bonnet towards back of car) is bigger than the bore on the left, but the spacer and gasket that sits on top was switched around with the big opening on the left, to make more fuel go in on first chamber and less when the second one opens up. Is this something that you guys do, i would like for someone who has had their carby set up by a proper place to tell me. thanks Ryan |

Don't know about the needle and seat, but if the spacer has been put around the wrong way it cannot possibly increase performance on the primary throat, just degrade performance on the secondary. Some idiot just put it that way by mistake I'd say.
