Today i got my resonator taken off and replaced with a straight 2.5inch pipe. All up it cost me $60 with installation and the difference is worth the $60. I took before and after video's of the difference it makes to the tone. The tone is much deeper and louder than before, and finally it grumbles on idel : . As for the droning, well if anything i love the way its sounding!!!.
(the clips are around 5 mega bytes each, so it might take a while to load) Here is the car with the reso on Video 1 Here's with it off, a much deeper growl Video 2 Considering that the car has only a 2 1/4 inch exhaust kit imagine it with extractors!!! |
