Every thursday night I head down to the carwash with my own bucket of water and wash, only costs me $2 to wet the car first and rinse when I'm done. Not as often in winter though, fortnighty or monthly depending on the weather.

i have washed mine 3 times in 6 months i've owned it so every second month, sometimes it stays looking relatively clean for a while so i don't bother too often.

I've had my car for nearly 5 years (since new). Over this time there has only been 4 weekends where I haven't washed it.

We are on water restrictions so last week on my day off when it was absolutely bucketing down (again) I put the car in the driveway, got in my swimmers, and gave the XR8 a wash. The neighbours thought I was nuts when they came home early. lol

If it wasn't for all the rain we are having during this terrible 'drought', I don't think the car would have been washed for over a month.

When it had to be driven daily again for a month, it was washed once a week
Now that it's back in the warehouse, gets permagard waterless wash before it comes out for a drive once every month to six weeks

Mine's usually once a week for a wash up at the local wash bays.

Then about once a fortnight I use all the bits available including the clear coat protectant & hot wax before bringing it home & using tyre black and mag wheel cleaner.

Before cruises & events I like to give it a bit of a quick once-over as well.

And damn you all, I'm now leaving early for work, so I can wash my car :P
