Umm testing mules - how else do they do reliability testing without driving it in day to day conditions? I'm honestly surprised people are shocked to see an Australian developed car for the American market been tested here?

Yes but it is not registered here, it is registered over there. There used to be lots of them at Alice Springs too. The 30/25 year thing has been around for a while and although holden use an over 30 year old engine design it still doesn't count...

Red face LH Drive HR

Hi all like Bud says he saw a LHD HR I posted something along those lines months back about a LHD HR Holden in Alice springs in 1970
some thing to to with the space base 30 Ks out of the alice there were a lot of LHD cars back then

I've seen a red one on Cardinia Road in Pakenham a few times on my way home, has a sticker on the rear bumper 'caution: left hand drive'. I'd say it comes from the Holden Proving Ground down @ Lang Lang.
