Haaaaa... My wife referred to them by their colours all day. By the end I think she was able to work out which marque was which.

The rules are pretty simple, don't overtake the lead car and don't rev the crap out of it. You get caught playing silly buggers it's your license. You damage the car you're up for 10k.

Kept most people in line.... the 'worst' that happened on the day was people slowing down a little on the express way when it was clear then changing down and flooring it... once you did that a few times and got it out of your system it was normal driving...

Any links to the track day version?

That is a really nice gift, did you know about the excess thing before you drove (did the wife tell you?)

Haaa. I got her a red LV TDCI Auto Focus with personal plates for her birthday in Feb this year. I think it was her who was trying to match my effort lol.

Glad you liked the pics.

http://www.sportscarrentals.com.au/d...s_ultimate.php

The pics from their site shows the Eastern Creek track, however the guy was telling me they also us the "Private driveway" track in Mangrove Mountain mentioned in the other thread in the Pub.

The excess, I knew about on the day. When my wife questioned this on booking it is only paid if you are at fault. I guess you could get unlucky but such is life.

Having said that, I would hate to do the drive in the rain, these cars make an average driver look great because they go so fast and corner so well... throw in a little water and in-experience and it could get ugly.

None of the cars are de-tuned. The GTR had semi-slick race tyres which held the road like nothing I have experienced.
