According to your list Casper, you’re a slave to fashion. There’s only 2 items listed that you don’t have, and 1 is due to lack of availability. Also the lattest fad (brakes) is on its way onto your car.

Yup, I've done nearly all of them.
Catch is I did most of mine when it was not the thing to do at the time though. As for the brakes... I've had mine in storage for over 6 months so I even started down this track before it was the thing to do too.

Just curious, theres been a few people putting ba/bf front ends on AU's. I'm wondering if anyone has tried a BA rear end on an AU? most peoples complaints about AU's are the 'droopy' rear end..so why not bolt up a pert BA rear on? could be the next fad!!
Ooh and also, i noticed in my mates BF Super Pursuit ute that he has a leather boot around his auto transmission, has anyone tried putting a manual boot around their auto shifter with success? again, maybe another new fad?? |

A few big ones iv noticed
- clear headlights/tail lights - territory wheels but i think that was short lived - tickford intakes - coloured healight bulbs - c2r grills - white cluster backgrounds - momo steering wheels - fitting ba equipment to au's - painting brakes calipers Usually something that doesnt cost a great deal of money seems to be longer lived I think the next big ones will be - forced induction as it gets cheaper - ba body kits

As for the next "fad"- well, I reckon it could be the flame kits for your exhaust pipes.Someone is selling them here in NZ on an auction site.Maybe not on Falcons and Commodores, but the boy racers are sticking them on a lot of jappas for sure. How legal and/or how long they stay legal is another matter! |

I reckon the next fad will be people selling off forced induction kits when the going gets tough, and they realise they dont have enough money to complete the job.
I am the first to start the fad, please see the for sale section if anyone wants cheap turbo gear, lol.

On a lesser note, rather than force induction and so on.. the AU's will probly take a trip down the same line as the VR and VS Commodores.. alot more mock-ups than there already are will begin to appear. Consindering you can pick up a series one forte for next to nothing these days, a few grand later and to the average joe you're driving a XR6.
