Changing heat range of plugs might make it detionate and if you are making horsepower your engine will just get hotter so I would not change the thermostate to a hotter one I would actually be going the other way.It will need a tune not just a fuel pressure reg.Your map sensor will be having a heart attack, thats why it runs so rich at idle.It will need a min of 16 inches of mercury to run.I would recommend giving ChipTorque a ring and they should be able to help you.I think I might have found out what was holding me back with my car.Valve springs weren't up to the task.As of yesterday I reeled off 157.1 RWKW at 34 degress.Now the car pulls like a freight train.

My head has springs that take 780 -800 lift heheh.Next week its going into get re edited.The car goes really well when I plant it anyway..its very good for power...JUST NOISY IDLE.
