Yet some people here support a V6 in the Falcon? They're mostly terrible motors and these sorts of issues are common on V6 engines across many brands.
I6 is the king of the six cylinder range. No ifs or buts.

No ifs, no buts.... And don't even start on the turbo I-6, the Ecoboost V6 has that more than covered... A truck version of the EB V6 that makes its (regulated) power on 91 ULP is a generation in front.. 270 Kw/ 525 nm versus 270 Kw/ 565 nm....you be the judge.... Looking to the future, the Aussie dollar is already slipping back under parity and if this trend continues, a litre of fuel will soar which means that six cylinder buyers will be looking for something else to buy. A smart move by Ford to introduce EcoLPI and Ecoboost I-4 right when petrol prices take off.... I wonder what Holden will do.....they have nothing in the cupboard to go with Ford except dodgy dual fuel V6.... Last edited by jpd80; 25-09-2011 at 10:36 AM. |

I think you should use a broader brush to make stupid generalizations next time.
