yea i'm leaning towards avis white, simply because it's correct for that model car i know 's not stock, but apart from wheels i wanna give it a almost stock apperance, even going the good old blind in the rear window..

The full sleeper stock look is nice, I can't wait....Polar white is nice too if you go the "A" mix - cleaner/brighter.

Yeah couldn't remember the exact ET but I knew I'd be close! Lol

I never said the AC was connected, just that it is an AC car. But the PS was connected at the time from memory but your pic will sort that.

Yes not its first time racing, but it was in that trim when it ran the ten I believe.

Was a tough genuine GT all the same : )

G'day Gents. By in that trim do you mean dropped pipes, race fuel, drag suspension, jerico box, 4.88's,7k launches etc.? It is a very cool car but there is a big difference between racing a car as you drive it & changing everything around to run a number. I believe the XYGT this thread is about is raced as it's driven

Cheers
Steve B

P.S. Garrett we are putting the green one together today

I bet Ante only revs it like he drives it on the street when hes racing it on the track LOL

The boys prepped it to run a good number as it doesn't have a cage and wouldn't get a chance to have another crack at it. Simple as that.

By the way the XB ran the ten on pump fuel not race fuel. Not that I expect you to believe it...

Besides the exhaust and slicks it could be driven on the street drag suspension and all.

Does Ante drive his car as raced on the street? It seems that is what you are saying...slicks and all LOL

As for 500 odd horsepower engine dyno says your odd is a BIG number, also now there is a difference in RWHP...

3.25 to 3.9 was a difference, some agree different gearboxes use up different amounts of power there was a difference in gearbox change, so for those two changes and the practice there was a ET and MPH difference.

So what is the theory of the multiple increases in MPH?

There would be some that would agree increase in MPH is generally a indicator of a increase in HP?
Garret, seems You Have an extra-ordinary interest in What went "wrong" With the First engine I built and If That is the case Why?<snip>there is always 3 sides to any story! <snip>

Steve generally 3 sides to every story, but even you would agree the engine you built had a catastrophic end that required most of the parts to be binned?

Your shop is out of my way, and I am not that inclined to know, you seem to think I have been provided the wrong side of the story, just thought you wanted to right that ....I am sure we will run into each other somewhere, as you say have a friendly chat, you may even want to share your side ....

Dont you just love those secret cam specs stories . Blokes would rather give you their pin number for their credit card but not the cam specs.
