not sure whether the fullboost reporter screwed up? I'm pretty sure Jasons turbo XE was trailered. I know it was definately trailered out : I did spot a part from it when I visited a workshop yesterday.

Nope it was driven there. I saw it come in. Unless it was taken off the trailer just outside on the freeway?

Well they came with the car so I'd guess they would know. It definitely got trailered home though...a blown input shaft will do that every time.

Sorry I didn't get your full 10.20 run Adam, I bumped the side of the camera and it was on manual focus and I was wondering why the hell it lost you at about 1/3rd track. I figured it out just in time to catch the time though.

I prefer no breakages and drive home not needing the trailer.

hehe. I've only ever not driven home from a track twice. 1st time electronic ignition failed and 2nd time the car wasn't registered. All other trips roughly 10. I've driven there and driven home (Heathcote and Calder).

If I can be sure I'm not going to get stranded 150k's from home? I'll attend Heathcote with FF.au one day. Pitty you guys normally run the days when I'm at work. Just to spectate this last one I started work @ 10am friday , finished @ 9am saturday, went home prepared the 2 children for the trip and drove up. Can't race a car and watch 2 children (2yo and 6yo) : Can't wait till they are older.

I'm impressed by the video converage the FF.au drag day got. A job well done by the camera owners.

hey guys the red xe was driven to the track it's all ways street driven the trailer was a percaution as it is always better to come prepared just incase these things happen if the input shaft didn't break i would have driven it home and out for a cruz that night, maybe next time..
the day was pretty good any idea when there might be another.

Awesome car, and great numbers. The engine bay is one of the best I've ever seen.

It's a shame the input shaft went, it was a hell of a backfire when it let go.

Looking forward to seeing bigger and better things.

I'm really after the burnout. Just like to hear the whine of the blower from the outside for once :voldar02:

Another top event from Fordforums productions!
Once again my car won a category without me driving! I think you better make some rules on that front!!
This time it was carrying a passenger for its winning time too....
I handed out some good times to a few people but then I also stuffed one of them up and felt really bad about it, ie I gave the person concerned a good time slip that wasn't theirs.
Hard luck story I reckon would be the poor VR/VS statesman driver who ran a 15.005...so close!!!Hope you get the 14 next time around!
Good to meet a few new faces and I hope to see you all next time, I don't care if I don't run, I will even come to watch as it is always good fun.
