Oh yeah I was.

I drank lots and chatted heaps. I think I saw John_xr6 working on it.

Ok time for tutorial.

Step one.
Post up mod day on forum.

Step two.
Make sure John_xr6 is coming.

Step two and a half (optional)
Go to wreckers with 5 members and avoid fight with others about skinny girls.

Step three.
Drink heaps and cook BBQ with help from John_XR6.

Step four.
Talk heaps of BS as conversion under progress.
EFFalcon, replaces fuel pump.

Step five.
Hassle John_xr6 to hurry up as it's getting dark.
(continue step four)

Step six
John_xr6 is finished and time for test drive (Driver has to have skipped steps three, four and part of five)

Happy cruising.

NB: Pix to follow

You may want to add in there that you need to put on the overflow bottle cap before test run =P

Back in the day it took us 5 days to get my old EA started after doing an MPI conversion. :

JohnW used it, the colour coding helped with it's performance and I understand it worked a treat.

Well done to all involved, even if you were just there for vocal support.

You told Scottie that you didn't finish it all so wasn't expecting to see you turn up to Knox man!

Isnt that 1/2 the fun of an MPFI conversion, using a massive flat blade screwdriver and a mash hammer to get to the fuel pump?? I know my scared knuckle thinks so.

yea about that vacume leak....it will be coming from the back of the manifold on the vacume tree in the middle line, it felt a bit loose when i put it on but i was hoping it would hold on :P just pop it back on you will have to get a tighter connection for it as the ones you had were a bit flogged.
