Default where to buy window rubber seals mk2 escort

can someone please help me find original weather strips for a mk2 four door escort? the ones i mean are the outer strips that keep the rain out of your doors,
they are a fairly hard compound, are original ones still available.

Do you mean the window scrapers? I am also looking for one with no luck so far (the inside one). Let me know how you go and I'll certainly let you know if i manage to find them...

I have noticed mk2 window and door seals for sale on ebay, they can also be found at "Rare Spares" (www.rarespares.net.au), if you email them they get back to you and let you know if the item is in stock. They are pretty good for escort parts.

i have heard mixed reports about east kent trim supplies, but they might be useful for some hard to find bits that we cant get here. by the time they got here he would be just as well off buying them in Oz.

thanks for all the replies, i have used the rare spares seals before (outer) and they are rubbish, it is a soft compound rubber that is sold in length and you have to cut it to fit , from what i have heard now though east kent trim supplies sell the original seals yee haa.

Personally wouldn't buy from East Kent Trim. As already stated, heard mixed reports about them and so if the rubber cracks on you how are you going to go about warranty and exchange/refund bits & pieces? Going to send it all the way back to the uk? Would either go spectrum rubber or scott's old auto rubber.
