2 seconds of seeing Private Cletus 1, 2, and 3 coming down the escalay-tor, and I realised it was typical american patriotic ****. Gentlemen, your comments gave me the insight to push the little red X in the top right hand corner. I now have 5 minutes more to spend on what I want tonight!
Thanks. |

One of my favourite commercials was the Ford Courier commercial with the blokes at the barbecue talking in their high pitched voice, when the Ford Courier pulls up. When the high pitched voice men ask him how it's going, he simply replies, "Bloody Beautiful mate".
"Awww nice!" |

What sort of ad goes for 5 mins? And how many people come home from war to a brand new mustang. If the troops in Iraq saw that add, it would give them false hope and they would be pretty mad when they see no new mustang.

Always loved the Hey Charger ad... absolute classic.
But I didn't mind the 'stang ad, it's a nice story, they did drag it out a bit unneccesarily though. Still a worthwhile message, though. |

I for one loved the idea, it'd work really well in uber-patriotic USA, barely a US citizen would be able to ignore that, they're so focused on their boys at war and it rolls every American tradition into one 5 minute video, definitely suits the target market down to the last fullstop. Might not work here, but remember the USA is a completely different country.

That ford Mustang was good story , bit long thought but the question is, If the classic was a Mach 1 or Shelby then why didn't they use a new Shelby instead of the standard model???
