Default Expression of Interest - Skid Pan Day - Qld

Ok guys, I've seen other people simply have too much fun on skid pan days / motorkana days.

Obviously we are going to need minimum numbers, but who would be interested in attending such a day?

Ok, so we have...

84RGE
2fishingdogs (maybe
racecraft

The more number we get, the more likely we can pull this off.

What do people think about mid to late August? And where do people prefer, Gympie or Mt Cotton?

It is around 70pp giving you hire from 8am - 4pm @ Gympie
I think the ideal number is around 20-25 cars

Last event i went to we had around 13 cars, was a small number and at 110 per car (including soft drinks and pizza lunch for driver) was a good number, got in heaps of pan time.

I prefer gympie though never been to Mt Cotton, but Ring ASAP, as my sister rang and booxed the next date she could for me and my mates a month or two ago - the next date available was december....

it is a long drive but a nice lazy cruise if you can handle getting up early. We met at the BP @ Caboolture at 5:15am, had a coffee and chat then headed off @ 6am to stop again at Aussie World and another coffee and chat.. By the time we left Aussie World we still got to Roadcraft 30 mmins early.. You could safely meet around 6 fir a 6:30 departure from the BP and do it easy..

THe early start was pleasant, abeit a tad chilly on the willy but the lack of traffic and perfect convoy line made up for it

im interested also, can get an xt and a ts50 along too if they are interested. best bet is to have 15 or so cars. as over that you reduce the time spent on the skidpan. best paying a bit more and having more fun ;)
